Belinda loves dancing more than anything in the world. When the judges at the annual dance recital won’t let her audition because her feet are too big she gives up dancing. She takes a job at Fred’s Fine Food and begins dancing again ,when Fred hires a band for the customers. She is discovered by the Maestro for her great talent and asked to audition for the Metropolitan Ballet and be a part of the company.

Kiddie Club Beat

Trixie, Dixie and Daphne want to go dancing at the Kiddie Dance Club. Trixie has to clean her room first. Her friends come over to help her. They finally get to go and dance the Salsa, Hip Hip, the Limbo, and Polka. This is an interactive all dance show for children.

Planet Panic

The planets are in a tizzy because each one thinks they are better than each other. They tell us using original songs and dances about themselves. Pluto is mad because he was kicked out of the solar system. The stars just want to shine all the time and Mother Earth wants us to all keep her clean.

Miguel’s Magic Mirror

Miguel lives in Mexico City with his family. He gets in trouble with his mother for not sharing his soccer ball with his younger brother Pedro. He is sent to his room without dinner. He wishes he was someplace else. The magic mirror hears his wish and takes him on a worldwide adventure of visiting children all over. He goes to Ireland, India, Australia, China, France and Bolivia. He sees how other children live and what their customs are. After a while he starts to miss his mother and his little brother and the good home cooked meals his mother always prepares for him. He wishes to be back home and is so happy to see his brother he gives him his soccer ball.

Jeannie McQueenie is pleased to present our original adaptation of Alice in Wonderland at the Evergreen Park Public Library, 9400 S. Troy, Evergreen Park. On Saturday the 14th of January, the Meeting Room at the Evergreen Park Library will transform into that magical land beyond the looking glass as The Mad Hatter, Cheshire Cat, Alice, and Jeannie McQueenie sing and dance to live music beginning at 2pm. The show runs forty five minutes, admission is free, and online registration is open. Save your seats today!

On December 17th, 2pm, at 1962 W. 95th Street, Chicago, “Belinda the Ballerina” by Amy Young, will be presented live at the Beverly Branch of the Chicago Public Library. Admission is free!

“Belinda” is the story of a young ballerina who is told she will never make it as a ballerina, but continues on to great success as a dancer by her own determination and love of ballet.

This special presentation will feature ballet by students of “The Dance Gallery” at 106th and Western, original music, life-sized puppets, and many opportunities for participation and dancing with the audience.

CD Release Party and Show at Children’s Museum of Oaklawn

Jeannie McQueenie is please to announce that December 10th, 2011, at 11:00 am, will be a very special performance of Kids Rock Band at the Children’s Museum of Oak Lawn. Jeannie McQueenie is busy in the studio creating the soundtrack CD from her shows “Kids’ Rock Band” and “Mikey’s Deep Sea Adventure”.

The perofrmance will take place on the same day as the Childrens’ Museum holiday celebration. There will be holiday crafts and a visit from a red suited friend of kids young and old! Visit CMOakLawn.org for more information.

Santa’s number 1 elf, Albert, is not happy making toys anymore. He really wants to be a rock star. How to break the news to Santa? Fate steps in, when Santa has the Jonas brothers lined up to grant a sick child’s Christmas wish and the boys come down with laryngitis. The kids sing and dance along with reindeers. Monkey’s and elves and help Santa fill a job opening at the North Pole.
