Get answers to the most frequently asked questions about Jeannie McQueenie and our programs below.
- Do we need a sound system?
- We have our own sound system to bring. If you have one, and you prefer it, we can use your sound system.
- Do you have entertaining shows for parties and stuff, or do you only do educational?
- The point about our reading enrichment shows is that they are entertaining, just like reading the book can be! However we have developed a number of shows for holidays and the like that may be considered as strictly entertainment.
- Do you have public shows, or do you only perform at schools and private events?
- We have a number of dates booked that will be open to the public. Visit our "Upcoming Shows" section from the links on the right-hand side of the page.
- Do you have theme shows?
- We have theme shows for birthdays and holidays. You may also find that one or more of our book adaptations fits your theme.
- How can I find out more about when we can see your shows?
- We do our best to keep our website up to date, and you should find our current schedule on our "Upcoming Shows" page. You may also sign up for our mailing list using the form on the right.
- I really liked your program and would like to tell my friends and colleagues about you.
- At the bottom of any page, you will notice the words "Share the Love", and a series of icons. By clicking on the different icons, you may automatically email a link to that page to your friends or share the link with your contacts on Myspace, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and many others. When you click a link and log in, a link will automatically appear in a post or message, and you can add some extra words of your own.
- I'd like to have you do a show for us. How do we get started?
- You may contact us in a few ways. The easiest ways are to call 773.220.6693 or use the contact form on our website, available by clicking the word "Contact" at the top of our website pages.
- I'm using a book in my classroom that I'd like have adapted into a performance. Can you do that?
- We will be glad to work with you in adapting any book that you are using.
- I've signed up for the mailing list, now what?
- You will first receive a confirmation eMail with a link in it. You must click the confirmation link, and you will begin to receive our newsletter when we send it out. We don't have a very strict schedule for it, but you should begin receiving newsletters once per month or so.
- My kids have all grown up. Can I sign out of your newsletter?
- Our newsletter subscription system is respectful of your privacy and your wishes. There is an unsubscribe link at the bottom of each email you receive from us, that you may click at any time to opt-out of receiving our newsletter.
